As any local, and many afar already know, the greater Seattle area has received its first coat of snow for this winter. Yay!! :) With the snow, my day was indeed a bit exciting.
It went a little like this: -Wake up -Check email -Find email about SWITCH youth group meeting being optional today due to snow -Think to myself, "Is there really snow outside?" -And, of course, I immediately check and find the neighborhood behind my bedroom curtains covered in white! -It was true! Snow still can stick around the Puget Sound! --Anyways, I go to church (SWITCH) and find that optional this time meant PUZZLES. =)
End of story. Not really, but sort of.
I think you should know, the happy person in this next photo is an Australian who has never seen snow before this day (aside from two times skiing where half of the snow was man made).
And this is all of us, happily together in the snow. :D
And here, is more the the story of my so called adventurous day:
After coming back home and seeing that the lovely trees Dash Point State Park were holding on to much of the ornamental , I made a plan to go on an excursion through the wonderful woods with some friends. And this, we did.
I got us all to run a potion of the snowy/muddy trail. Which we quite exciting due mostly to the slickness of the trail.
"Aslan is coming."
After wandering around the forest for quite a wile, we made our way to the beach.
The End.
...for now, it is still snowy and is snowing a lot right now.
