Over the past couple of years, I've grown a lot. Not not so much in height, but in one thing quite noticeable to me is the development of my photography abilities (no pun intended). This past week I have been going through all my pictures, deleting the ones that I'm never going to do anything with again. At first I just noticed that the majority of my pictures weren't worth keeping. Then I realized that even though these photos should still be deleted, it was all of these "worthless" photos that taught me and brought me to where I am today. Though I don't claim to be the best, I know I have gotten better and I didn't start this good. I took and take many pictures that will have just two views and then be deleted, but they are still essential for progression.
In this post I have a bunch of self portraits that I have taken since I bought my camera in the Spring of '08. Some were to practice a little modeling, some just for fun, some were experiments with lighting late in the night, some were group pictures I wanted to be in, and others just to make a new facebook profile picture. they are ordered approximately oldest to newest.
Enjoy! :D
I hope that last one wasn't too creepy...
